IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2025
The IBPS PO Exam 2025 will be conducted in online mode with an objective-type format. Except for the English Language and Hindi Language sections, all other sections will be available in both English and Hindi. Candidates should note that the exam has both sectional and overall cut-offs. There is a negative marking of 1/4th of the marks for each incorrect answer.
IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2025
The IBPS PO Prelims Exam 2025 will be conducted online with a total duration of 1 hour. The exam consists of 3 sections with 100 questions, carrying a maximum of 100 marks. There will be negative marking, as 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. To qualify for the IBPS PO Mains Exam 2025, candidates must clear the cut-off in all three sections.

Once the prelims exam will be qualified by the candidates, they can appear for the IBPS PO Mains Exam 2025 which will include four sections and an additional section for english language. The Reasoning section is now combined with Computer Aptitude, consisting of 45 questions worth 60 marks. Each section of the exam will have a time limit which will be designated before. There will be a negative marking of 0.25marks for each incorrect answer.

IBPS PO Interview Process 2025
Candidates who successfully clear the IBPS PO Mains Exam 2025 will be participating in the IBPS PO Interview Process 2025. The interview carries a total of 100 marks, and candidates need to score a minimum of 40% to qualify. For candidates from SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories, the qualifying mark is relaxed to 35%.
The final selection for the post of Probationary Officer will be based on the combined scores from the Mains Exam and the Interview Process. The weightage of these two stages will be maintained at a ratio of 80:20. After the interview round, a merit list will be prepared.
